The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) has conducted its sixth HUD-Held Vacant Loan Sale (“HVLS 2020-1”).

On June 24, 2020, HUD offered multiple residential mortgage pools consisting of approximately 650 notes and loans balance of approximately $148 million. The loans are Secretary-held first liens secured by 1- to 4-unit vacant residential properties, where the last surviving borrower is deceased.

HVLS 2020-1 sale scheduled for Wednesday, March 18th will be postponed

The HVLS 2020-1 loan sale auction scheduled for Wednesday, March 18th will be postponed. The sale will be rescheduled at a later date. The date for the rescheduled sale will be announced as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and we appreciate your participation in our sales.

 

HUD-Held Vacant Loan Sale 2020-1 (“HVLS 2020-1”)

Washington D.C. – The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) has announced the latest HUD-Held Vacant Loan Sale (“HVLS 2020-1”).

On March 18, 2020, HUD will offer multiple residential mortgage pools consisting of approximately 700 notes and loan balance of approximately $150 million. The sale will consist of due and payable Secretary-Held loans. The loans are first liens secured by 1 to 4-unit, vacant residential properties where the last surviving borrower is deceased.
